Since childhood, Ji-hye has been able to see things she shouldn't be able to see - and even now, as an adult navigating office life, she spends her days on edge, never knowing when danger might strike. Then one day, after catching her boyfriend of nine years cheating and breaking up with him, she’s on her way home. By chance, she encounters a dokkaebi (Korean goblin) who’s been wandering in search of a mountain god. The dokkaebi makes her a proposal: help him find the mountain god, and in return, he’ll fix her eyes. Holding onto the hope of finally living the ordinary, everyday life she’s always longed for, Ji-hye enters into a contract with the dokkaebi. There are beings who watch these two from afar, or from right beside them. What’s the story between the dokkaebi and the mountain god? And was the encounter between Ji-hye and the dokkaebi truly just a coincidence?
