The younger brother, who was a comedian, has died. He left behind a daughter, who's not even one year old, and his wife, Kyoko. The older brother, Shouji, attempts living together with them under one roof to support the other two. However, he has two extremely different sides called "mania" and "depression"... Eat, work, sleep, wake up. They are unable to live a normal life, but they reach towards the will to live.
